With training from world-renowned institutions like Johns Hopkins and Cornell, our leaders bring global expertise to local impact — up to 80% of heart-related deaths can be prevented through lifestyle changes and early detection.
Leadership Team
Dedicated professionals with a shared vision for a heart-healthy Ghana
Dr. Martin Tibuakuu
MD, MPH, FACC
CEO & Co-Founder
Dr. Martin Tibuakuu is a board-certified cardiologist whose personal journey from a small village in northern Ghana to Johns Hopkins Hospital fuels his mission to transform cardiovascular care in Africa. Growing up, he was the first in his village to receive an education — walking barefoot to school and enduring weeks without food. The loss of both his parents to heart disease became the defining motivation behind his commitment to ensuring no Ghanaian family faces preventable losses from cardiovascular disease.
